Writing more and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

So my cat died this month. Today when I went to write with friends, my car click, click, click… Battery died. At least I had my computer and wrote. My contemporary will be first draft ready at the end of the month. YEAH. Then I have an idea for the next of my brother, and I’ll get around to editing and going thruogh the sequel to Mything You.

At least the writing is coming along.

Problems keep surfacing, but it’s time to keep moving forward. But in the meantime, I’m in a strange mood tonight for real family drama. Dad worked for Warner Brothers before I was born, and I saw some movies alot older than me. So tonight’s selection is Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Liz Taylor is awesome. Paul Newman is a man with those eyes… modern day I can’t think of one, though Chris Helmsworth has sexy blue eyes like that. This marriage and the relationship with Big Daddy and the whole family dynamic… they do not make movies like this, with this drama. Most of it is too intimate. I love it. In a way watching a movie like this makes me feel better about my own life. I avoid drama, and this movie hits hard.

Soon I’ll be back to Batman and modern world, but this is a great classic I’d recommend to anyone.
