So my husband and I enjoy making homemade chicken patties or nuggets for our family that are free of lots of preservatives, but still want to enjoy old fashioned chicken patties or chicken nuggets with your kids or for yourself without hitting the frozen food section.

I grew up in the frozen food aisle and I want better for my girls

1 TSP dill

1 TSP salt

1 TSP sumac (dried berries)

1 TSP tumeric

1 TSP cumin

1 TSP Garlic

1 TSP Ginger Powder

1/4 TSP Red Pepper

1/4 TSP Black Pepper

1 Carrot for every 3 potatoes is the ration

1 pound of chicken

(If you need to make more like 2 pounds of chicken, then it’s 2 carrots and 6 potatoes)

With the food processor grind your chicken, potatoes and carrots. You don’t want it too watery so watch those potatoes.

Then in a bowl mix everything with your spices.

On a hot frying pan with a little virgin olive oil, put your patty mixture in small circles in the pan and fry them up.

Now you have all natural chicken patties. If you get cookie cutters in the shapes you want then you can cook them exactly how your children want to eat. (like these dinosaur ones.)

You can watch the 2 part youtube my husband made here to see how we mixed it all together.
