Victoria Pinder’s Addition
I love Christmas and give aways. You can see how I’m in that mood to give. I’ve received so much this year and it’s awesome.
Question to answer at my blog. I am so tired of hearing that the world is going to end and horrible destruction will unfold. It won’t. It’s silly. So my question is to spin this posivite. What if on December 21st, we find out it’s our day we receive our cool new super powers. What power would you have and how will you help others with it? Remember power corrupt, so this gift means you must be able to share it and help others. Besides, that’s the spirit of the holidays… giving back.
Someone is going to win an ebook of Mything You.
Wish I could give away a new copy of my coming in February Contemporary novel in my new name from Corvallis Press, Two Weeks in Miami
Two Weeks in Miami
But that’s not mine to give. It’s my real name, so yeah. It’s the first release in my name.
Also Happy Holidays. While this posts, I will be with friends celebrating the season of giving back. Then I return to Miami, go to work, and prepare for the final weeks before Christmas. I can’t wait to see my parents! Mom rocks. Dad rocks. Sisters rock. Brother rocks. Niece rocks. Brother in law rocks. Nephews rock. This is in no order whatsoever. I wish you all Merry Christmas and I’m sending virtual hugs your way. Hope you are giving back and receiving with grace. Come to think of it, I need a bit of grace  in the next few weeks too. LOL. I’ll stop rambling and send you back to win cool stuff!
After you are finished hopping you just send  Tabby an email and tell her which blogs you went to and what you did at each. You are not required to go to every blog to win but the more blogs you go to the better your chance of winning is. Send info to ( Please send it all in one email. If she gets an email for each blog you will not qualify for the grand prize. It would just be too confusing to figure out that way. So one email with all the hop info.
Example of hop email for contest:
Your name and email at the top. (You only need this once.)
For each blog
Blog Name
I commented, joined blog and anwser to question at end of the blog post.
You don’t have to do all these but each one gets you an entry.
Time to start hopping! Have fun and good luck!
Happy Hopping,

  1. Great question! My super power would be invincibility so I can keep people safe & defend them against bullies.
I followed your blog too. Happy Holidays!

  2. One of my favorite Christmas Romance Books is The Untamable Rogue by Annette Blair! The story is about Ashford Blackburne Fifth Earl and he has to get married and get his willing bride pregnant before Christmas or his grandfather won’t let him inherit his money. Ash truly needs to inherit the money because his late father squandered it all away and he is taking care of his mother. After getting stood up at the alter, again, Ash and his friends go to the local pub where the owner plays a drunken Ash in a card game…his consolation prize is the pubs daughter Larkin, who he wants to get ride of. Ash has to learn to forgive…Larkin has to learn how to trust…can two completely different people find love together. This is a cute, extremely funny, romantic story with a surprise Christmas ending!

  3. What an original and interesting question! I’d love to have the gift of healing – to be able to cure a sick person, child or animal with a touch. Wouldn’t that be something!

  4. I would have the power of mind reading. I know that would be a tough one. Maybe I could also get some control so I could turn it off at times.

Happy Holiday and thanks for the blog hop 🙂

  5. My super power would be to able to snap my fingers and have a clean house. Snap my fingers and I arrive at my destination.
Love the cover for Mything You. I’m intrigued.
    Yep I’m following you.

  7. Lots of cool superpowers here I wouldn’t mind having, especially that cleaning the house by snapping my fingers. 😉 But if I could only have one it would have to be the ability to heal. Imagine looking into the eyes of that person facing chemo and being able to say, there is no longer a need? Fabulous!

Great question, Victoria. I followed here and on twitter.

  8. Wow..this is not the kind of question I was expecting…but a very good one. i had to pick between two….in the spirit of giving I would want to have the super power of invisibilty, so I could help people and they wouldn’t even know I was there.I also think it would be fun. That will be a neat question for a get together, thanks for the idea, smilz
i am going to follow you and see what other ideas you come up with.

  9. Hi Victoria,
I think I’d like the power to heal like the character “Leo” did as a White Lighter in the TV series “Charmed.” Only I wouldn’t just want to be able to heal physical wounds but also emotional wounds. As a writer, you cannot help but want people to achieve a state of contentment. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.

  10. My dream super power is flying! I really do wish I could! And as far as using it to help people, I could carry little old ladies across the road???

    Thanks for the Awesome Hop!

  11. If I could choose a superpower it would be telekinesis and I would use it to help in any way I could. Very cool question and thanks for participating in the blog hop.

  12. My super power will be speed so I can do many things in a short amount of time.
Will be spending time with my family eating lots of good food.

  13. My power would be to make trees that grow money. Then we would have no hunger and homeless. Thanks for the great hop. I follow by email.

  14. Oh, I like this post and the idea that we’ll gain superpowers! Me, I’d like to be able to stop time. Think about it: you could take an hour out to walk the dog and no one would notice–and then I could come back and do the dishes later. 🙂 I can tell you, everyone around me would be much happier if I got that walk in or finished that chapter before meeting everyone else’s needs! 🙂

  15. My super power, I think I would like to be able to influence the forces of nature. I could help make sure that conditions are right for food to grow and animals and people to live. Follow by twitter, and email. Thank you for the giveaway and for being a part of the hop. Happy Holidays!

  16. Hmm, super power…I guess I would hope for a force field. This way if debris or zombies or bullets or whatever is flying at me, my loved ones, comrades then I could protect us all.

    I follow via twitter (@watijo3)

Thanks for the giveaway & MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

  17. I think I’d like to have the power of serenity, it would be nice to live in a peaceful world where everyone was happy.

  18. What an awesome hop!! And a fantastic giveaway! Thank you!! My superpower would be healing. I could help those who were sick, heal broken hearts, send healing thoughts to broken family members who lost people. Happy holidays to you all! Best wishes and many blessings!

  19. I would also have healing. I would heal those who are ill and give them back to their families. Thanks for the fun and have a great holiday!
    New FB follower!

  20. I would love to be able to make people happy. As in I walk into a room where people are maybe arguing or sad and bam- they are happy, they get along, no more fighting they work out their differences. HMMM, I’m a mother of nine…wonder if that influenced my answer.
