This about to get married in two months romance author with edits due loved the question of where to go on a romantic honeymoon?
We haven’t decided yet. The wedding is costing enough, and the fiance will hopefully soon get a new, better paying job. So we’ve been watching our wallets. No expensive dinners or weekend flights anywhere right now. And do we buy more alcohol for guests or go on an Alaskan cruise. I’d love to do the cruise? Have you seen pictures? Oh my goodness. Sign me up.
But we’re probably lucky that we live in South Florida. We’re likely going to go on a summer cruise. It will be HOT. But we don’t pay airlines and we can just pay for the ship.
One day though for most romantic trips we can take, I’m going to the Greek Isle. Check out Celebrity Cruise 12 Day Greek Isles

The cruise starts at the picture above. I’m already thinking about the Indiana Jones movie where it starts in Istanbul. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about the cruises. And in the picture, I can just see myself sitting on one of those benches with my about to be new husband. It’s exciting.

Then Odessa to me sounds ehh, but check out the atmosphere. I could stay with him on my arms or just get into the mood to write another dark atmospheric. Is there a reason a Bond movie went there? Or was it Bourne? I dont remember, but I’ll so go.

Yalta, I’m so ready to see the ocean from a tower view. How cool is this to see on a honeymoon?

Or how about visiting with my new husband to Mykonos? He wouldn’t know how many Harlequin books I read set on the Greek Isles. We’re going.
However we’re probably ending up on Royal Caribbean and we’ll be like these people in the brochure photo of the summer trip to the Caribbean Islands. I’m good with this one for now. How can anyone complain? It looks amazing. I’m in.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can couples plan a honeymoon on a budget when wedding costs are high?
Couples on a tight budget can save by choosing a cruise that departs close to home, eliminating airfare costs. For example, those living in South Florida can board a Caribbean cruise directly, paying only for the ship. This approach significantly reduces overall travel expenses while still providing a romantic, memorable honeymoon experience without sacrificing quality.
What stops are included on a Celebrity Cruises 12-day Greek Isles itinerary?
A Celebrity Cruises 12-day Greek Isles itinerary typically includes Istanbul, Turkey (start and end point), Yalta and Sevastopol in Ukraine, Odessa, Ukraine, Burgas, Bulgaria, a scenic cruise through the Bosphorus Strait, Mykonos, Greece, Athens (Piraeus), Greece, and Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey. The journey spans multiple countries across the Black Sea and Mediterranean regions.
Should honeymooners choose an Alaskan cruise or a Caribbean cruise for a summer trip?
For honeymooners in South Florida, a summer Caribbean cruise is often more practical than an Alaskan cruise because it eliminates the cost of flights to a departure port. While Alaska offers dramatic scenery, the Caribbean provides beautiful islands and warm weather with easier, more affordable access for those already living in southern coastal states.
Oh I’m so excited for you!!! And Greek Isle looks so romantic!!!
I’m thinking a visit to the Greek Isles might just be the go.
Greek Islands, sand, surf, and fellas in various states of undress soaking up the sun? Okay. I’m officially jealous.
On New yrs eve, i’ve gone out with friends to a party,…. i’ve gone over a friends house & had a fun game night,… I once went to a wedding on new years eve. =) And i’ve also stayed home with family & had nice quiet nights! One year I want to go into NYC amongst the crazies & watch the ball drop in Times Square. =)
I love this post btw, such beautiful pictures! I don’t know where i’d go for a honey,… maybe Hawaii, or Italy. =)
Thanks for this giveaway!

As I said on another post. I’m not someone that likes to party so I say have a nice romantic dinner at home and then some dancing.
We maybe going to Hawaii on New Year’s eve. But Greece seems like another great idea. 🙂
A romantic cruise would be a great way to spend New Year’s Eve.
