I spent the day not writing but adding links to to all my book pages that include Walmart. As of right now Walmart is not USER friendly or searchable. I’m hoping they fix search ability and include author names on products. I had to search by title and sometimes the search engines were auto correcting incorrectly. Favorite Scandal should not bring me to sandals because walmart wants to sell me shoes.

I took a few screen shots though as the books aren’t listed via genre exactly when you search for them. Snoopy and I don’t have similar books. And Harry Potter isn’t much like the princes of Avce. So the searching makes it hard, but at least links are starting to come!

But I figure Walmart is the best thing Amazon is going to have as competition and I’m for competition. Reviewers and authors can get the heavy hand of Amazon with little backlash. They are the big game in town so they set their rules. I haven’t been in KU because I fear Amazon ruling everything or letting my income depend solely on them. So for me competition is GREAT. And if you’re a reviewer who Amazon has turned off, let’s see how Walmart plays out!

But you can poke around my site now and see that my already released books should all have walmart links now. And again these links don’t go to Kobo’s site. My books are on Walmart’s site. Here is one example just to show the difference!

The same book on Kobo: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/secret-crush-10

Adding all the links took all day, but I’m glad to do it. Tomorrow I tackle giveaways and start adding twitter posts that go to Walmart.

Anyhow happy Thursday!!!
