So I wasn’t going to announce until all the books were in Kindle Unlimited which will be today, but I decide to put my paranormal shifters in KU for 90 days while I think about how to write the once a year paranormal dragon shifter series. So while I was making up ideas on what I wanted to happen to Grayson and where his mate actually is, I was like ‘cool let’s do a KU 90 day run.’ It’s not like I do much with the paranormals and they weren’t selling much (much of that was my lack of care.) So I meant to click the button this morning on all the KU stuff but last night Facebook hit me with their ‘this is selling sex toys or are sexually graphic’ challenge to some facebook ads. Now they have no problem advertising erotic but my romances are apparently too hot. So I spend the morning creating faux covers to put on the book while I wait for my designer to whip up a new cover. I’m not a cover creator so my creations are bad. I should be writing. The KU button should be hit. But Facebook calling my book cover too sexually explicit has me scrambling. The designer needs time. I want to hit the KU button today. So I’ve been cooking up temporary solutions. Anyhow these are the covers that are going into KU today. The dragons will be getting new covers as soon as the designer can handle helping me out…
Then I am horrible at making covers but one of these 4 will be on Amazon for the week until a real artist I already contacted gets back to me.
So once Amazon lets me back into I can hit the button and wait and see… anyhow I’m updating on the life of an author. Sometimes it’s not exactly writing. Sometimes it’s dealing with bureaucracy. Still though I was little miffed being called ‘too sexual.’ Clearly the monitors on facebook ads aren’t seeing the books in my feed or I’m small potatoes so easy to pick on. Off to comply and enjoy my day…
