This novel is about a Duke. Astorre. He’s been partying like he’s about to lose everything in previous books. But until now, no one has known quite why he’s so determined to lose every penny.
And in the final days before his 30th birthday he meets Clara Fortuna. They strike up a friendship as she’s not looking for a fast hook up and he’s not offering anything more than to see Europe and maybe learn to be more frugal from his new penniless friend.
But with the past starting to catch up with him Astorre strikes a last minute bargain with Clara. If she’ll be his bride, he’ll share his vast wealth. What Clara doesn’t understand at first is Astorre and why he believes he doesn’t deserve anything good in his life. She’ll have to figure out this bad boy and help him if either of them can change their fate.
And honestly this was so much fun to write for Halloween as it has a slightly haunted (not really) castle, storms, and more so it’s perfect fun when I mixed a little gothic in for fantasy beautiful Avce and we learn so much more about Astorre and his history in Avce. I hope you love it as much as I loved writing it!
