What is it about alphas in books that we love? I know I do. In the Zoastra Affair, I had two love stories and two different heroes. Cross is my alpha and so much more fun to write and read about it. I loved Peter too and to me he was my Prince Charming character. Peter had an essential goodness to him and in the story that was needed. But Cross kept it real and had his own goals. I loved writing him and I love the big brutes in books where I read about them. With all my wedding planning, I’ve not been swept away in a good book with an alpha male that was so amazing and hot and delicious, Im hoping this hop helps me fill my suitcase full of books for summer reads. For fairy tales this is the first year of my life that I’ve not seen a disney movie, Frozen. It’s on the list too, but I hear that’s all about sister power. We like to stay in on New Year’s Eve and avoid the hassle. Plus it’s more romantic! We go out and pick up ribs, eat in front of the fireplace (with a roaring fire!), watch a couple of movies and (if we are still awake) watch the ball come down with our sparkling wine or champagne. And of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without a passionate New Year’s Kiss!!

My mother usually takes my kids for new years to let my husband and I go out……what she doesn’t know is that we don’t go out……we stay in….in bed, on the couch…..anywhere we want and since we rarely get rid of the kids we pretty much stay naked until an hour before they get home 🙂

Spend it in Paris in sight of the very lit up Eiffel Tower.

well alot of hotels ofer packages and fun stuff like bands dancing and ballon drops there is food and different rooms set up with like kareokee sports and music thru out lots of fun plus in the morning they offer food and bloody marys or mamosas swimming
Haha! We’ve done several things for New Year’s Eve. A themed progressive dinner where we dressed up, decorated for the theme and had a different course at a different home was a fun one.

The best and most romantic thing to do on New Year’s Eve is stay in and snuggle with my hubby in front of the fireplace sipping sparkling wine and eating snacks til it’s time to watch the ball come down and give each other our NEW YEAR’S KISS! (if we can stay awake after all that wine lol)

One year we bought our parents a Murder Mystery Weekend package at a local ski resort. It included the overnight stay, dinner, an open bar, breakfast and the mystery production. Plus the use of the resorts facilities.
I’ve read tons of books with alpha heroes this year, but no one hero sticks out. Roni Loren’s Ranch series has good ones.
My friends and I hang out (go to a comedy club, movie, just go to each other’s house).

I haven’t been out for New Year’s Eve for so long, I’ve forgotten what it’s like! That said, I think a fun place to celebrate NYE would be in New Orleans! Crowded, yes…but not as bad as NYC!
