Follow the dream you had all your life? Or fall for the crush whose picture hung on your wall?
You probably told me to follow my dream first, right? I mean that’s what I’m supposed to do.
I made my way onto the TV stage to sing for my life and drove thousands of miles to do just that.
But Phoenix Steel is here and he wants a comeback.
Out of all the former bands in the world, it’s my teenage obsession whose sexier now than ever.
Except he’s here to win so he’s the competition. But if he wins, then I go back to living in that same room that used to have his poster as I skipped out on college to follow my music.
As the competition heats up, so are his kisses. And they burn through me, making me want to break rules.
I didn’t know what to do.
I was getting distracted and nothing else mattered except more of Phoenix. This was going to end bad for me. I can’t lose my once in a lifetime chance.
At some point I need to stop everything with Phoenix and focus on winning. But part of me doesn’t want too and that’s bad news. What happens then the curtains fell wasn’t ever on my radar of possibilities.
